Hi , I need to be a scrounge here . That baler looks to be pretty rusty that you posted back on the first of July . Is the inside of the bale chamber just as bad looking as the outside is ? If it's missing the parts that were identified in the responses then fixing it is your call . If it's rusted up tight then there's probably water in the gearbox . There's not many other places for it to rust solid except the knotter shafts . Almost everything else runs in brass bushings . Check the plunger to see if there's something wedged in there . Also make sure the chains are loose , meaning adjusted correctly but individual links aren't rusted solid together . Spray the rust penetrant of choice on everything that's supposed to move . Take all the guards off and if you have or can get to a steam cleaner clean it with that first including trying to force water into the bushings to flush out dry grease then spray it with wd40 or something and grease it as good as you can while the parts are still hot . A steam cleaner will remove a lot of paint and skin pretty fast so be careful where you point it . Splashbacks can hurt too because the water is so hot so be prepared . A commercial car wash won't do it , it's not hot enough nor does it have enough pressure . Like a rusted bolt move the flywheel back and forth to free it up in small increments . Don't put it on the tractor till you can move it through all it's cycles by hand . Good luck with it . Here's the scrounge part . If you decide it's not worth making it run I'd sure be happy if you could sell me the front input overrunning/slipclutch if it's not to sloppy on the rear shaft splines . I can't find one anywhere around me at three different junkyards . Naturally I'll pay a fair price and shipping . I don't know how to open my email so here's my phone # 319-290-2522 . Thanks ! Good luck getting it running ! It'll take some work . ...Randy
