14T knotter replacement and adjustment questions

I recently bought a 14T baler. I have ordered an operator's manual, and I am still waiting for it (3 weeks and counting). I am wondering if anyone has any information on replacement of the knotters. One is broken, and I was given a good replacement when I bought the baler. Also, would anyone have info on the adjustment of the baler for baling, and if possible, how the twine is routed for correct tying.
Anything helpful would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Okay, I think I found out how to do the twine. Now, how do I check the timing? I got the knotter replaced, but I need to make sure that the timing is correct to do bales.

run the twine through the tensioners in the twine box, out the porcelin insulators, thread it through the needles, pull a little excess through, and trip the knotter. it will take care of the rest. make sure the twine knives are sharp, the wipers are close to the billhooks, the billhooks are clean and free, the twine disks are clean and free, and the tucker fingers are free and lubricated. you'll need the manual for billhook tension adjustment ect.

Hi , If you keep an eye out on Ebay original manuals come up pretty frequently . There's other sites that sell old manuals also , do a search for tractor manuals . I can't help with the knotter replacement , I've never had to do one . The twine is taken out of the center of the ball , run up through the guides and then through the clamp tensioner , out through the eye , down to the eye at the rear lower part of the bale chamber , forward to the individual eyes under the needles on the outside of the needle guards , then up through the needles ( over the guides that look like rollers - they're not - from the front side to the back end side ) then pull out enough twine to reach out the side of the bale chamber and tie it off to the adjuster handles . Turn the flywheel to the left after tripping the knotters . If everything is working correctly the twine should be placed in the twine disc by the needles and the tucker fingers and held there . The whole process is pretty involved and would take a lot more space to try and explain here so it would be easier to wait for the manual or find someone that knows something about them . Good luck ! Just don't hesitate to ask questions here . ...Randy

That's pretty involved! I have no idea what any of that meant. Is there a diagram or something that would show how it is routed?
I found out today that they sent the implement the wrong manual, so they had to re-order it, and now it's another 10-15 days out. By then, I may as well cut hey for straw!
