Got this old 271 I have been playing with. Well first thing that happens is the main drive chain brakes. So if I don't move it can I just fix the chain or do I need to retime it. Does any body have a manual in there computer they could send me. I don't want to spend $35 or so bucks on one just to find it can not be fixed. This is another one of those fence line machines I hauled in last fall and I would like to get it up and working but I'm also not going to spend a lot of $$ doing so.
Thanks

I'd sure time it any time the chain falls off..... Can be pretty messy if anything is wrong.

Sorry, don't have my 270 manual on file - a 270 is the same baler with a different hitch.

I might have a copy for one. It's either for the 271 or the 273... I can't remember. I'm at work now (night shift) and it's at home in a binder.

You'd be welcome to it.

I'll post back here when I check it out tomorrow morning.
