Need pictures of KBA 10' JD disk to complete restoration

I need to find a couple of pictures of the rear of a JD KBA 10' disk showing the threaded rods that hold the inside of the rear discs to the main frame, and how the chains attatch from the rear bar to the outside of the rear discs. Anyone help me? I just can't seem to find the pictures I need to finish putting this thing back together. I need to fabricate some parts as they are not all there.

Did you get what you wanted? I just read your message today. I have a 10ft kba that I restored last year that I could grab photos if you still need them.

YES!! you can help. I need a close up of the mounting point for the rear bar that an adjuster (turnbuckle) attaches to.

The rear bar has the chains at the end of it attached to the rear discs. I need a picture of the middle of it.

Someone torched the mount point off. I think there is a turnbuckle that mounts on this and when tightened and loosened, it lifts and lowers the outside of the rear discs. Not sure if I"m explaining this correct or not.

I did find most of the parts I needed from the gentleman in PA that was listed on this website dealing with KBA discs. Sounds like a great guy to deal with. I should receive most of my parts in a few days.

Seems that your Operator's Manual and Parts Catalog should be all you need.

Not really. I need a close up picture of the rear threaded rod and a measurement of the threaded rod as the parts manual does not give detailed specifics of dimensions, just a small exploded view with associated part numbers. Not much to help me fabricate a discontinued part. These parts are not in my possession as they did not come with the disc I'm restoring. Just looking for some help.

I don't have any pics, but I had a set of 10 foot KBA's with both tongues. You could use them as hydraulic wheel harrows or drag harrows depending on which tongue you had on them. I wish I still had them. Good Luck.
