I need to prelace one of the rollers on the pickup cylinder arms because it broke. I can't figure out how to take off the old roller and put the new one on. Does the roller come off the pin it's on (looks kind of like a pintel) or is the pin part of the bearing assembly. Do I need a puller or press to switch out the rollers? Since one broke and the cam broke I'm replacing all the rollers.I noticed a posting asking about availability of parts for these baler. I was able to get most parts (rollers and cam, belt, etc.) but the dealer can't get the finger plates for the knotter anymore, and the belt for the auger (?) and spacer for the baler trip wheel they had to search other dealers and get from thier supplies. So some things are available but not everything. You can go to the Case IH web site and find parts diagrams and numbers for everything. Just takes a little patience to figure out how they have equipment listed. Does anyone know where I can get a set of finger plates? Mine are pretty grooved and I'm worried that that might cause some problems with the knotters. Which I'm still trying to figure out. I bought my baler last fall and have been trying to get things working. I thought I had the knotters working pretty good, while just throwing in old hay, until I actually started baling, then about every 5th bale it didn't work. Right after that the pick up roller broke and jamed the pickup. It wasn't too fun after that!
