I was woeking in the boss"s plow today and ran into a snag...I am replacing the spindle and hub assembly (got one for a dump wagon - should be almost direct fit) but I can"t get the spindle out. It is held into a tube by a roll pin (that came out nicely) and it seems like it should move with a little persuasion. I tried driving it out and tried to turn it to see if that would get it to move, but nothing. I"m thinking to apply some heat and see if that works, but thought I"d see if anyone has some better suggestions.
Thanks.

try heating and quench it, don't beat on it too much and expand it ,usually have to put them in the press to remove them
