NewHolland 68 vs 67

I just got a New Holland Super hayliner 68 and have been using a New Holland Super hayliner 67.

I"m getting a manual but want to start changing the fluids and greasing it up to use.

Can anyone tell me the difference? I"m using the manual for the 67 and want to try and find all the hidden spots to grease and make sure that it is ready to work.

That was my combination until recently, I had the S67 and got a 68.

Obvious stuff, tongue on the 68 attaches to the axle and is longer, PTO shaft on the 68 is also supported by the tongue. Gives it the extra joint.

The 68 has the "wood" plunger bearings vs the S67's rollers.

Same baler. I swapped many parts from my S67 to the 68. I used my S67 parts and owners manual. Servicing is the same.

I had a 67 baler for years. That is a wonderful baler. I think your common sence will tell you where there should be a grease fitting.

I may be wrong, but I believe the only difference between the S67 and S68 is the tongue length and the extra joint in the PTO shaft on the S68.
