Claas constant baler manual

Hi,
Can anyone help me with a copy of a parts book and operators manual for a Claas constant square baler. My local claas dealer told me there was never that model of baler! Thanks

Go back to him and have another go. The Constant is now a very old baler, the other model sold at that time was the Dominant,(dont get confused with the Dominator, which is a range of Claas combines) both will have the old 3 piece bill hooks unless modified and pre date the Markant range which has been around for 25 years+ If you are in the U.S. there was a marketing tie up between Claas and Ford so you may well find the same baler painted blue, we have some ex Canadian combines over here with blue paint coming thruogh the overcoat of green! There should be 2 books, an Operators and a Maintenance book which will have all the basic baler and knotter settings in it.(both were supplied with the baler when new) There is also a parts book, as I don"t think that these balers are on Claas E.S.I.S. parts system, that is what your dealer will use to look up and order parts, thats prbably why he says there is no such machine. You will probably have to pursuade him to e-mail Claas Germany to find availability and part number, but CHECK THE PRICE BEFORE ORDERING!

Thanks Richard, I will give the dealer another go, I might try another dealer also. I am in Ireland, i have been "given" the baler to take away and would like to run it, it hasnt been used since 1998 but was working when stored, the outer panels look a bit rough but mechanically it looks ok theres even a few balls of twine in it!
