Howdy all. I was rolling today and had already baled about 4 bales and on the next bale about a 3rd full the baler jumped out of time.We got the bale out and got the chain back in place and it didn"t do it anymore. Any ideas why? I can"t find anything wrong.Chain seems to be tight enough and all bars straight.I replaced 2 of the bearings this spring with no problems. All help and advice would be appricated.

Thanks Bigun

There is an adjustment for the chain WHEN THE BALER IS EMPTY. Did you set that?

Only other thing that could possibly make it skip time is worn drive sprokets and/or the floor chains aren't spinning the bale properly. Might check that floor system.

How about those lower idler sproket bearings? One of them isn't locking up and making the chain jump, is it?

I don't know of a adjustment for the chain.Where is it located and how do I adjust it.I checked the floor system and it seems to be fine.I replaced 2 of the floor guides the rest look fine. The lower idler sproket bearings is the 2 I replaced. Thanks Allan for the help.
