A month ago my dealer quoted me a price for a roller with bearings to go in my 5545 Rounder, so I drive down there (60 miles) today and he tells me they are now discontinued. My question is maybe someone knows a dealer that may still have one on the shelve. The part number is 700-110-472. Roller idler with bearings is what my parts book calls it. It is 44 1/4 inches long. Wasn't it made in the same factory as the 430 John Deere baler around the middle 80's? I haven't measured the O.D. This is one of 3 of the Tightener Idler (forming belts) Assembly. I have the later serial number of these models. Any help or comments/info are appreciated.
