What's the easiest way to change the belt and does anyone have a parts diagram so you can see if the belt is installed properly?

Just checked, and there is a manual on ebay right now, item #7627033742, or search "Ford 513".

It isn't the easiest job... If you can find an owners manual, it's explained and pictured in there. I got my manual off ebay. I'll try to explain it without pictures (sorry, don't know how to scan and send stuff yet). Book says to loosten tensioner, then remove all 4 bolts that hold the left reel bearing to the frame. On the right reel bearing, remove the lower bolt and loosten the upper bolt, to allow movement of the whole reel. The belt has to be passed under the right rear wheel, then the frame has to be unbolted (1 bolt) from the axle on the righ side to allow the belt pass through. Replace frame bolt, and put belt onto pulleys. From the axle pulley, it goes over (on the front side, faceing direction of travel) the smaller idler, to the lower side of the reel pulley, back to the front of the larger idler, and back to the bottom of the axle pulley. Replace bearing bolts, tighten the belt, adn you should be ready to go. Hope this helps.
