How good are MF 120 and 124 balers?

I"m considering a different small square baler and seen a few MF 120 and 124 balers advertised. Who manufactures them and are they any good. I don"t bale a lot of hay, but my old IH is getting worn out and parts are hard to come by. When were these balers build and are parts still available?

I bale with a #12. It wont eat hay real fast but it wont miss a bale after shes been shined up. excellent baler easy to work on. check tightness in plunger though if guides get rust behind them they will bind the plunger.

Massey built their own balers, and they in general were pretty good machines. We've got a #12 that was the predecessor to the 120 and 124's. As for age, I'd have to think they were made in about the 70's-early 80's. parts can still be had. Some are very common and the dealer will have these on the shelf. Things like shear bolts, springs, small knotter parts etc...

my boss has a 120, and his does a great job... it will never miss and bale as heavy as u want it to, and has prity consistent bales
