I just got a cole horse drawn planter. I would say it is in great condition. The handles are good with writing still on them. The hoppers still have some paint on them too. Everything appears in good shape and working order indluding fert. hopper. I cannot find a model number on it. It has a plate that is on the bottom ( not slanted) and is edge drop. It only has one plate. I was wondering where I could find plates and if anyone has any good ideas on how to convert it to 3 point hook of mount it on a cultivator? Thanks

Cole planter company is still in business. I would start there. They can put you in touch with a dealer. If the planter is similiar to the 12mx design they might have what you need.

None of my business, but there are lots of cole planters around that are 3pt ready. If yours is in such good shape, might wanna think about keeping it original. JMHO
Take it easy.
