I recently aquired a 10 foot Goble disc made by the Goble Disc Works in Fowler California. The patent renewal date was 1939. I have seen an identically built disc with Massey Harris cast into the disc axles instead of Goble. I was wondering about the history of Goble.

I tried that and all I can find is an Indian company called Atespar that sells what they call a "Goble type off set disc harrow". It looks like a normal type of modern disc harrow. If they call it Goble type, I wonder if the Goble Disc Works had some type of patent or ground breaking style which made their name eponymous with that type of disc. Anybody out there in Fowler California with some insight on the company?
