I've been contracted to sell a Dearborn-Wood Bros Combine. Model #16-1, Serial #4711. It was parked in a shed in 1958. It is pulled by a tractor but has a seperate engine that runs the combine. The motor is not a Ford, I believe it is a Detroit. Tag has Detroit & Muskegon, Mich. on it. The engine's model #Y112, Serial #34869. It has an attachment for cutting and combining and one for just combining windrows. Has a bag attachment for collecting weed seed. It's in pristine condition. The paddles are wooden and look and feel like they are strong enough to go to work today. Only 2 of the paddle attachments have been replaced with iron. The canvas belt will need to be replaced. What is this worth today? I can post pictures later on today or tomorrow. I'm unable to find anything on the internet about it's value so thought I'd throw it out to you guys.

Best bet is to find a tractor show that is featuring Ford to find a collector that would want it, for use now nobody would want but the right collector would like to have it. Probably to far away for me and short on money

The engine is a Continental brand. If it does not run and needs work it is worth scrap price. What state is it located in?

Yes you're absolutely right it is a Continental! Short term memory isn't what it used to be. LOL!! To bad it isn't worth anything as it looks like the day it was parked. I think it's best for the owner just to leave it where it is. It's not in the way and he just thought someone could get some use out of it. Maybe another 50 years will make it valuable for his grandkids. Thanks guys!
