I just bought a NH 467 haybine, my question is how does a person adjust the rollers, as of now the rollers have about a 3/4 to 1 in gap between them. With it running like it is no conditioning is taking place.

Sometimes the rolls stick apart if plugged. Take a mall and make sure they are down where they belong. As for adjustment, on the outer right side of machine is a threaded rod located just behind the sickle knife.Lift the spring lock and turn the adjusting bolt clockwise to increase the roll presure. The reduce the pressure turn ccounter closkwise. After making adjustment, repostion the lock.

there are shims on the side that will adjust rolls but make sure that the roll adjust is not rusted up, When the hydralic cylinder raises the deck up the rolls should open up and if it is rusted they will not compress when the deck is lowered. If you don't have a manual it is best to get one there is alot of info an maitaining them.

First are the rollers in time? I mean one groove having one rib in it. If not Remove a chain and turn one roll so they mate. And then if that is not the problem there should be two knobs on the back that adjust the tension on the rolls.
