Transporting NH 499 Haybine on Flatbed

Folks:

We are moving to a new farm and need to transport our equipment. Most will work easily on a flat bed, all except our baler and 499 Haybine. We figured out the baler, but not the 499.

How do you remove the tongue from the unit?

How do you chain down the unit to the flatbed once the tongue is removed?

Those haybines do tow quite well behind a truck but the width can be a problem on narrow roads or in congested areas. There has to be a way to take it apart, because when it was originally delivered to the dealer it was all in pieces, packed in a shipping crate. If you have a New Holland dealer in your area, you might contact him and see if you can get the set-up manual.
