I have a 1034 New Holland balewagon. I have made some custom pallets to try and stack on. was just wondering if there was anyone else doing this? I made my pallets to fit on the back table forks so when you lay the load back on the ground there will already be a pallet under the load. I baled yesterday and when i picked up with the balewagon when i got to the 5 th tier the bales wanted to fall forward. i have not had this problem Before. any pallet suggestions would help. Thanks!

We had that same problem with our 1034. For some reason or other the second table does not also fully extend and push the bales far enough on the third table. We ran it with a open cab so everytime the second table tripped I would just turn around and hold the second table lever out to make sure that it went all the way. At times that was a bit of a pain and I am sure that you could easily adjust the ram travel under the second table to make it work correctly.

First of all, I have no clue about stacking on pallets, as I've never done it. Do the pallets go on the rolling rack or the load rack? As far as the bales falling forward, you've got two adjustments. The first one is your rolling rack isn't rolling easy enough. There is an adjustment to how much pressure it takes to roll it back, and you have a touch too much. Becareful, because if you go too little pressure, it'll just keep rolling back and your stack will fall backwards all the time. The second adjustment is on your second table. You can adjust that, so it will push the bales further back onto the load rack when it raises. Kind of hard to explain where to find these, but if you look for them, I think you can make the adjustments. I hope these are right. They work on a 1037, and just assuming they're the same. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. One final thought is to make sure the bale holders on the top of the balewagon are set to the right height and are all there.
