I have recently purchased an old FERGUSON Plow and I have some questions. Nameplate says
HARRY FERGUSON INC. DEARBORN MICH. #32252 12-AO-28. It looks like most of the parts are there. What year would this have been made? What is the proper colour for it? Is there a
Parts Manual with the Harry Ferguson Part numbers? If there are any Ferguson Plow experts out there I would sure appreciate any information
you can give me. Thanks

Yours should be a 1944 year because the 12 AO 28 model came out in 1944 and in 1945 the city on the tag was changed to Detriot, MI. It was painted dark gray like a Ford 9N or a Ferguson TO20 tractor. Parts could be bought at a New Holland (was Ford) or a Agco/Massey Ferguson dealer, newer version of the plow were the Dearborn (Ford) model 10-8 or Ferguson model AO, some of these parts will interchange.

To Scott PA; Thanks very much for the information
on the Ferguson plow. Do you have any idea where I might get a look at some literature on that
particular model of plow? Thanks again. John in B.C.

Look on Ebay for a Ferguson plow book, at the bottom it will say Harry Ferguson, earlier models will say Ferguson-Sherman at the bottom and those frames are different.
