Hi folks,Thought maybe someone could help me. I am a grass farmer/grazer, but bale grass for the winter months. Amount I bale is about 70 acres. Note that I also mow pastures and thistles & etc. So, I want to get one of the new disc or drum mowers. Here is my issue. I have little need for a tractor, my one Alice Chalmers WD does all I need for a tractor. I own a ASV MD70, which is nearly as good as a second tractor. It does wonders for my fencing on my hilly terrain, but it also converts into a treaded "tractor". You can see is a picture of it here Link I would like to buy a disk or drum mower that hooks to the "front" of the machine (this is where the PTO is). Front and back are kind of confusing terms, since the seat swivels and you can use the machine going either way. The "front" I refer to is the loader end. The PTO is under the step into the cab. There are also aux. hydraulics there. Can any one recommend a front mount disc or drum mower that would work with this machine? Since the MD70 uses standard bobcat quick attach, it would be nice to buy or put a quick attach on the mower & hook up the PTO and go mowing. I wouldn't want too wide a mower, since I want the windrow to go between the tracks. No conditioner is needed. Oh, the MD70 is a 70hp diesel. Thanks, Any advice or thoughts appreciated.
