question about flail mowers???

i've heard there are 2 different types of flails and one of them is for brush...how do you tell the difference between the grass flail and the brush?
i got about 140 acres of yaupon i'd like to make disentegrate

The cutters are different. The fine cut knife blades I've seen are L shaped and hang in pairs to form an upsidedown T. I saw an 8' rough cut once that had a T shaped blade hanging on a chain. Check out Alamo Flail mowers on the web.

yall must have some tender brush in yer neck of tha woods to be usin a finish mower on it...some of this yaupon is 16' tall and 4'' across.
