Hello, can anyone please tell me how far the needles should protrude past the knotters when going through a tying cycle? We are using poly twine. Thanks for any help.

I am not were my baler is, so I can't measure it. This is determined from the bottom of bale chamber. The needles are right when the yoke that attaches needles is 1/4 to 1/8 inch from the bottom edge of the bale chamber. So just trip your baler and turn it until needles are up as far as they will go and measure from yoke to the bottom of the chamber. This will be correct setting.
