Monitor Question?

My White 5100 has a population counter monitor on it and row 4 blinks when you turn it on and sometimes when the planter is out of the ground and not moving ( no seed going thru it). Is the eye going bad or could it be inside the control box? When planting I can put it on scan and the other 3 rows will come up within 20 seed counted for 15 seconds and sometimes row 4 is close and other times it is several hundred off. I've cleaned it with a bottle brush and blew air thru it and no change. Any ideas? Thanks, Chris

Check your wire and connections from that row. If your harness will allow it, unplug and switch with the row beside it...that will indicate whether it is the seed tube or the harness that has the problem.

I assume the seed is going down evenly in each row.

Most likely just as you thought its a seed tube sensor going bad.

Eventually it will quit altogether.
