Hello, Recently bought a pretty good Dearborn 2-14" plow. Model 10-156 Dont think it will be used much, but would like to know if any of you know of a place to get replacement plow shears and such for one of these, or any other plow brands that also might fit the Dearborn.

Thanks, Gregg

Gregg, I recently bought a 10-156 plow also in excellent shape. Shares are available at CT. To the best of my knowledge so are shins, moldboards, wearpads and landsides. The N-Newsletter does have information on this plow. Does your plow have coulters and jointers? They were an option on this model. Threw mine into the ground for the first time last week and couldn't have been happier with the performance. Hope you are as happy.

Later, Don

Gentlemen, besides getting the info on your Dearborn plows, I suggest that you also get the Plow manual That was put out by Harry Fergeson. It is the best plowing primer I have run across. I also have a source for the rolling landside wheel on the Fergeson and Dearborn plows. A dealer near me has a good stock of them. LOL with your plows.....Tom

Hey Tom, my rolling landside is in great shape but I would be interested in finding a set of jointers. I must say that this winter I became almost obsessed with plows and am not sure I'm fully recovered. I live in York County PA. What type of plow(s) do you have? I did buy the Instruction Plow Book from the Newsletter. Probably will buy the Ferguson one as well. I bought the Ford Tractor Implements Book by Peterson and Beemer. Which really helped me with a reference guide to all the implements and numbers. Can't seem to get enough of this stuff.

Gregg,
No It's not, I have Reesman Farm Supply, just across the Ohio River from me. He had stocked up and only sold a few. If you need one, I will dig up his ph. # and send it to you. The n-newsletter has lots of info in the archives as you found out.

Tom, That dealer wouldn`t happen to be Wengers of Myerstown woud it? It looks to me they have quite a few of the smaller plows and equipment for sale in there adds. I ordered several of the plow booklets from the N-Newsletter today..:)

Thanks, Gregg

Before ordering, go to the N-Newsletter website and check in the master archives to see if they have the parts manual for the plow. I think they might have. [ www.n-news.com ] They have a lot of good information there.<
