Vermeer TM 800 ????????

Vermeer likely will not agree with me but here are my views on the pull-type disc mower without a conditioner.

If I were you and I had a good 3 point disc mower that I liked, I would purchase a disc mower cart also called a disc mower caddy. This way you will basically have the same concept for less than $3,000. The pull type mower like the TM800 does float a little better that a the disc mower cart does but only in very rough fields. I just like the disc mower caddy concept better because if you want to change mowers you can do so just by trading 3 point disc mowers and not having to invest more money in trading a TM style mower.

The NH 617 is a very heavy 3 point mower and will not work properly on every cart out there. I'm not disparaging the NH disc mower.
If you have coastal Bermuda and want a mower that will hug the ground the Vermeer TM mowers will do that. The Vermeer TM will mow behind the tractor or out to the side. The other TM style mowers will not do that. Yes the TM series mower will do more than a cart but you would expect it to do so with the extra cost. The Vermeer TM800 will sell for around $12,000
