I could have sworn that some one told me and I never really checked it out. That the NH461 was a 7 foot cutter. So I go over to the NH dealer to get the belt I need and some other parts. I ask for a new cutter bar. he brings out a 9 footer.
I said that is not right I have a 7 foot cutter.
We look in his book and mine. Right part number.

Hmmmmm maybe I dont know what the heck I am talking about. So I bring the 9 foot bar home. yes its a 9 footer. Sure looks alot smaller than my 469.

the 467 is the 7 footer. he said the 460 was also a 9 footer. learn some thing every day.
Just dont tell my wife I made a mistake. I told her I DO know every thing. :-)

when the 460 series and 461 series were built, they only made 9 footers. the 467 (7') and 469 (9') were the next series, and the 477 (7') and 479 (9') series followed them. fwiw.
