Does anyone have a McCormick O-B Levee Disk, or know where on is? IHC made them until the mid or late 1950's. It looks like a Bush & Bog Disk except that the gangs are spaced further apart and angled to throw the dirt in to build a rice field levee. I have not seen one for years.

i don't know where you are, but if you can go to the houstonchronicle.com and go to the classifieds/auctions section there is a listing of farm auction for the area. sometimes there are several auctions listed. a big one is held at the stockyards in sealy, texas. they have lots of old tractors and implements. it is usually held about 2-3 times a year. like Ol Chief said, katy texas area used to be a major rice farming area, but with the subdivisions taking over there might be lots of farm sales. contact the chamber of commerce in katy texas. they may have some info on auctions/estate sales etc. good luck.

I believe there are numerous of these discs idle in the area around Katy ,Texas.About25 miles west of Houston.Rice farming has reduced in that area from around 65,000 acres to about 15,000 acres in the recent past.
