I can understand why NH changed the design of thier hay bines after the 460/ 461. You really have to disasemble the thing to put a new belt on it. In the manual it shows removing the gear box by pulling in a strait line left. Can't do that with this one. Had to drop it down and left to remove. Should be a real joy to get it back on there.
Oh well there was a reason I got this one for $150. No one else wanted to mess with changing the belt.

That looks like fun..:)

I have a 469. I haven't had to change that belt yet.. can't say that I've even really looked at how hard it'll be to get off once I do.

Comes off real easy if your jack-knife is sharp. It's putting the new one on that is difficult.
