funnel spreader

I just got a 2 beater funnel spreader but I didn"t get a manual. Not sure of the model either, it"s been painted a time or two. What"s the best way to set the slide openings? All I see for adjustment marks are A B C and holes inbetween. Planning of spreading ferilizer, and might broadcast see with it too. Thanks

Worksaver has a wonderful set of manuals on-line. Go to their site, look for the funel spreaders, and get the manuals - they have parts breakdowns and/or options as well.

I printed it out. Really nice. I think I tried putting the web site up here once, other site tend to get blocked here, so you'll have to do a search for it.

I would keep searching ebay until a manual turned up. I may be completely misunderstanding the question but with the cost of fertilizers it seems like you could eat up your savings buying that used one right quick if you got your application rate too heavy.

i've never done this, but this thought crossed my mind when i read this. what would you think of putting in 50 lbs of sand and set the gates and spread the sand with it and measure out the distance and see if you can guess-ti-mate from there.
