Can't say for sure on the 851 but the manual for the 850 shows 3 options for the tie set up on it. 1 is hand, 1 is hyd and the other is electric. My 850 has the electric tie system but wish it was hyd because I think it would be less trouble. My electric always has problems with the switch getting wet and not working as it should

No I don't but theres a place not more then 60 mile from me that a few years ago had a good number of old 850s around that may have some parts. They where selling one that could be used for as little as $500 . There number is 800-335-3941 or 573-378-4603. Saw one sell at an auction last year for $200 but it needed a lot of work but I still should have got it just to have the parts sure wish I had now but you know how hind site is

Can't figure out if you already have hydraulic why you want to change to electric. Or, are you talking auto-tie?

Did they even have that option on the 851?

Allan
