Trying to find a Hay Crimper

Hello, Does anyone out there have a lead on where I could find a hay crimper? I cut with a sickle bar and have been looking for a working crimper to use with it but am coming up very empty locally here. Does anyone know of any in the western PA / Easter OH or even Maryland areas? OR even some salvage or farm equipment places I could try? Sorry if this sounds like too much of a wanted ad. I don't have any luck with those.

There is a Cunningham posted on ebay in Keymar,Maryland it ends April 25th. Good Luck

I have a Brillion and a John Deere,i am not sure if they are hay Crimpers or Hay Conditioners. I have never used these .If any one has any interest E-mail me Wery soon,other wise they will be going out for scrap while the price is high.

You just need to find the right person, I live in Southern Maryland & posted a want ad in the classifieds of our local online newspaper for a hay conditioner. I had two or three replys from people selling a mower/conditioner. But, one person about 10 mile away had a JD 32, bought from a local farmer & had never tried to use it, $250. We pulled it out of the barn hooked it up & discovered it had a bad bearing. I checked on parts from Deere, it uses the same bearing as some of the newer combines, offerd him $150, brought it home, & replaced the bearing. It worked pretty good this past summer crushing stems. Don't get flustered, there maybe one right in your backyard!!!

I've been trying to locate a John Deere model 22 hay crimper here in the north east for several years.

I have a Cunningham Hay Crimper with an extra gear box. It has steel rollers top and bottom. This all we've ever used. You can email me direct at [email protected] if you are interested.
