That is a type of bottom, on the plow model if you can give me some information I can tell you the model no. First are the beams all 1 piece cast or are they made out of like large pieces of flat iron? The cast would be a No. 5, the flat iron could be either a 55 or 55ABH. If the later does it have a square bar going from front beam to back beam and if it does, does it lay flat ar stand on a corner? will tell model by that.

Also check the No. 5 plow, the older the plow the more likely to have those bottoms and the No. 5 was before the No. 55 and the 55 ABH followed the 55

if you have a local jd dealer pick an older parts guy to get you a book and let you look at the pictures in it and you can probably tell you what have. is it hydrualic lift or trip with a rope? i think you might want to start looking at a 55 plow parts book, but just guessing. glad to see your getting into the hobby and especailly into equiptment restoration. do you have a tractor your going to restore to pull it with? you'll find a lot of sharp people (not me) on this site who are great at helping people, especially younger guys. good luck
