Just bought a grain drill no one seems to know anything about it has the small IH brand in some of the castings. Fertilizer box is in good shape Has rubber tires on it,IH dealer thought it might have been made in the 50s would like to know what models were made in the 50&60s and try to find a owners mannual,and see if i can still buy any parts for it. or any information on it. thanks paul

The IH McCormick model M series drills were sold in the mid 1940's thru the 1950's. Might have also been sold in the early 1960's. I believe the IH model 10 replaced the M. I have the original owners manual and copy of the part book for my MF which also has grass seed, but am not interested in selling them. The F is for fertilizer. I have been able to get some parts from the CaseIH dealer with most luck coming from the obsolete parts depot. My dealer had an original parts book which I copied.

Fertilizer box????? Not a clover/alfalfa box????

How wide is it? 10, 12, 14.

Manual wheel lift, or hyd lift?

Got an acre counter (gears & pointers) in the left side under the grain box?

Blue strap iron supporting the disks?

Metal spiral seed tubes, or hose?

Hitch made of angle iron?
