Thanks to all for your help. Can anyone point me in the right direction or a supplier to purchase a good heavy constructed disc. I have a massey ferguson 165 with 50 HP so I am looking for about a 6 to 8ft disc.

i agree with railhead, you can get a decent disk at your local farm sales. stay with a brand you can get parts for. i bought a 14 ft kewaunee a few years back for $35.00. needed front blades and a cylinder, pull type. had an old clynder , bought a set of blades form shoups, 24 blades ran about 11.00 ea. i pull it with a w-9, about 45 hp.

I would hit the farm sales if any are close. I know you probably want a 3 point disc but a good drag disc would be better than any of the 3 point you are going to find at Trator Supply etc. Those that they sell are pretty flimsy and I have never seen one that the discs aren"t broke out in the center or the shaft is stripped on even with minimum use. I have a old old case drag disc I bought for 15 dollars at a sale I do my garden with. I had to spend about 8 hours working on it when i got it so count that in the price but it will last a lot longer than the "farm and ranch" store ones that sell for hundreds. hope this helps, maybe check the classifieds in your area too.
