I found a John Deere 5 foot pull type mower that I would like to buy. It has a manual height adjustment and the serial number is 127 003W. Does anybody know what model this would be. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a 5 foot pull type rotary mower that dates to the 60's, don't think they were ever made for hydrolic lift, check for broken frame on deck, problem area. The 127 is model number, the other might be series. they had no serial number

Leroy is right it would be a JD 127 Gyramor rotary cutter.

A pic would sure help or at least a better description. Sickle mower? Rotary mower? Shredder? Stalk chopper? Drawbar mount? Integral mount? 3 point hitch?
