What was the first model baler made by New Holland? When was it made? -My first baler was a Model #65 Compact baler. Whats your opinion on this baler and is it collectable as balers go?

Hi Loren, The first baler made by NH was the model
73 in 1940. Then a 75,76,77,80,etc. The first small baler was the 66 first introduced in 1951.
The 65 came out in 1960. Probably not highly
collectible. Chuck from Minnesota.

Chuck: I'll chime in and say thanks for that. I only became introduced to NH in the mid 50s when a neighbor bought one, with nearest dealer 100 miles away. My cousin and husband took on a local dealership around 1959, and my dad's first purchase was a S-69, a baler that took us to the days of round balers some 17 years later.
