well i just got back from auction. The cornpicker was a 325 but it had a 326 8 roll husking bed. It did not meet its reserve price of 2 thousand

Location, location, location. In Pennsylvania, a nice 323 one row will bring $1500. A like new 324 or 325 two row with the 327 12-roll bed will bring $2500+ easy.

Depends a lot on what state your in. Bought 2 324 2 row wide with 12 row hushers for $275 and $350...Bought a 325 2 row narrow with 8 row husker for $300...All 3 shed kept inside. Bought a 325 with grinder that sat ouside with a sheller that was stored inside with very little use for $375. I'm going to rebuid from these to have a picker and sheller setup for narrow rows with spare parts.

One thing to consider, the 325 is a two row narrow row picekr, and the 324 is a two wide row picker.

I'm no expert but I would think you should be able to get a good 323 for less than $500. and a 324/325 for around $1000. or so. Just a guess on my part, so take it for what it's worth.

Thanks, i was thinking of offering the guy with the 323 $500, he says hes not sure what its worth. I think your right, i wouldnt want to pay more than 1000-1200 on that 325.

Be sure the 325 has the 12 row husking bed. otherwise the price drops considerably, although for $2000 it must be virtually new and also have a 12 row bed. Personally for small acres I really can't see much advantage for the 325. A very good 323 for $500 looks by far the best buy for a smaller spread. and a fair deal for the seller.
