I just posted a picture in the Help I.D. section. I am try ing to find out what kind of disc this is for painting. It has WD27 on rear bearings WD28 on front bearings and Dh 20X on the spacers. Has a lot of red paint on it but I can't find an I.H. logo anywhere. If you can help I.D. this many thanks. It is under Unknown Disc

If it is a Ferguson it eas made by Roderick Lean and under the Ferguson name it would have been avaible with 2 different types of hitches foe the 3 point control, have books for both but not handy and would have been painted grey, the disc sold under the Roderlic Lean name would have been red and with a hitch for standard tractor drawbar, may also have been avaible with the Ferguson hitch, don't know. Some of the Roderlic Lean name implements were red. Roderlic Lean Manufacturing Company was in Mansfield, Ohio

Ferguson disk got one just like it in bad shape.
originally had a two point hookup to the three point on a Ford tractor. with the lift arms down the disk would cut full angle, lift arms all the way up was transport postition. arms in between set the cut in between. mine was butchered up to a single pin hitch and I drilled holes to put a bolt in to get different angles. the rear gang arms where they attach to the front should have pins in, remove the four pins and use the front gang by itself.
Sorry no idea of what color paint.

From what everyone is saying the best chance is furguson which should be gray. I also heard four other brands it could be so I still don't know for sure. I have 2 gallen of Ford blue so it looks like thats the color it is going to get.

Jeff my uncle has a old set of IH that look like those. Does it have a screw type handle for setting the pitch on the gangs. I have 2 sets a no 9 and 10 that are completely differet.

No it does not have a screw type adjustment. It may have at one time. The way it is now is you back up to disingage it and put a bolt in a hole on the tongue. Remove the bolt if you want a big angle on your cut. If you just want it to cut a little put your bolt in various holes depending on how much you want it to cut. It looks to me like it may of had a handle at one time that you tied a rope on. I used a disc years ago that was like that. Thanks for any info you have. I was just trying to find out what color to paint it. So far I have had replies for 5 different brands

Looks like an old Ford disc to me. A neighbor has a similar one. I am pretty sure his is a Ford.

Ford never made one like that that I know of and it is not an IH series 5, 9 or 10 and it is not the same as my Massey Harris so the only other red paint maker that I can think of is Cockshutt, could what you thought was red have been orange?

I guess it could be orange but it really don't look like it. It looks like a deep Farmall red but it could have very easily been painted so you may not be able to go by the colors. I was hoping the casting numbers might tell what kind it is.

I would have to say it is NOT a John Deere, Moline, Dunham or Roderick Lean and Roderick Lean made implements for both Ford And Ferguson, also it is not an Avery an do not believe it is a David Bradley
