I want to sell one for a older retired couple that sold their place and moved south. I've never baled in my life, so I have no knowlege of balers. Could you give me a ball park figure what to ask for this thing. I bought all the manuals for the thing and will look tonight to see if I can answer your question. Just from reading on this board they seem to be decent square baler for their time. bjr

A well-kept 316 is a decent baler for its time; or any other time as well.

Bjr,

Where is it located? I am looking for a good used 316 in the Northeast.

I'm in what is called the Tri-Cities in WA. I have a photo ad on this site. Type in Ford 4000 in the WA State and you'll see the tractor and the baler. bjr

The 316 I'm looking at has an asking price of $4,500. The condition is about an 8-8.5 on a scale of 1-10. It does have a homemade applicatior kit and a wagon shoot. And i'm in the Midwest
