Yes I've done some stupid things in my time. One in particular. I was at my grandmother's one day and decided to mow the lawn. Before I started, I gave it the once over checking all the fluids. Gas was low, but I had enough to get the front yard done. So I thought. Went around three or four times and it quits. Couldn't keep it running. Tinkered and tinkered nothing would work. Finally, after standing there the whole time, she asks the simple question of 'is there gas in it'? Talk about walking away lauging at myself. And I won't even mention my latest brain fart.

Yup.

I really didn't understand your question on the pto lock - was worded kinda strangely so wasn't sure really what you were asking. Seemed you had a lot of replies by then, & didn't need more confusion at that time.

Glad you got it worked out. Sometimes 5 minutes of being there is worth 3 days of typing..... ;)

It's not all that bad. in reply to coup, 03-12-2007 15:46:27
Like Hugh says, same boss & wife for that long says good things. Don't sweat the small stuff. By the way, it's all small stuff. Your so-called mistakes cost you a little time, nothing more. That's the best kind of experience to get.

Just last night I tried to sand primer that wasn"t dry yet. The outcome was pretty ugly, and I get to try again tonight.

cop: YOU CAN"T BE THAT BAD; same woman and same employer has put up with you for 28 years. Those other things are rather minor.
