ditch bank mower

I just bought a ditch bank mower at an auction (with hyrdrualic arm) and it has 5 hydraulic hoses. My tractors currently only have 4 hose hookups. I have an 1130 Massey and and 4620 JD. Was hoping to use with one or both tractors. A few questions:
Any idea if a line can be added?
What kind of hydraulic oil does this thing use?...same as hytrans that is used in tractor hydraulics? something else?
It says "Motrim" on the side...anyone know anything about this brand?
I do not have a cab tractor...will this thing be dangerous for the driver?

should be easy enuff to plumb another remote in...hy-tran should work just fine...as far as being dangerous...theres a certain amount of risk operating any kind of machinery...a handheld weedeater can pick up and throw stuff too...i fergit what rank farming/ranching is in dangerous jobs but its in the top 10...use common sense and you should be fine.

i had a friend who worked for the county road commisioner and he quit his job rather than run the one the county had. it might be ok if you add a steel cage around the operator because you never know what that thing is going to pick up and throw at you. just a tractor with a cab on it isn"t very safe with one of these. there was a man in huntsville al who got killed just running a bush hog because it picked up a piece of wire and threw it through his heart. killed him instantly.

I gather the hog you bought has the arm that is on a boom that is side mounted to the right of the tractor operator? Or is it the rear mount arm? With a side mount, which can be raised up to whack tree limbs back and dropped down on brush, you need a cage around yourself. That type of mower is very handy for fence row use. With a rear mount boom, there is slightly less danger as the boom will not reach into the air like the high reach side booms. Build a cage out of some heavy angle iron and some heavy fabric mesh. Weld it up for a top, and 3 sides, leaving the left hand side open.

It is a 3 point hitch model..on the rear of tractor. How hard is it to add another hydraulic hookup?
