I purchased a Gehl 1070 mower/cond. Are Gehl and hesston the same machines.I need some parts but every where I look I can only find a Hesston 1070 and not a Gehl 1070.

I think that Gehl and Owatonna parts are interchangable if that helps.

No they are not the same machine. Many parts for that series of Gehl mocos have been difficult to impossible to get for years. Not gonna get any better now that Gehl is out of the ag equipment business.
