you guys might want to spell shoot - chute. i miss more than my share on here myself. my high school english teacher would turn over in her grave if she could read some of these post. any way you look at it hay hauling isn't the most fun thing in the world to do. especially when you leave hay on the ground over night in the edge of a mountain and the first bale you turn over the next morning has a rattle snake under it. i told the guys not to pick any bales up that morning but rather roll them over and look under them before picking them up. sure enough, there was a rattle snake under the first bale.

A lot of the older NH balers already had a !/4 turn chute as standard equipment. All you had to do was unbolt the center bolts of the first chute panel, and separate the two halves, and discard one. this works almost as well as thw new one in the diagram.

yah i have a half a shoot off of an old nh 66 that i bought for parts but i dont know weather it would work or not the shoot is cut in half length wise
