Okay guys, I bit the bullet and purchased an E-Z Trail Bale Basket. Just got it to the barnyard. I have also purchased a good old Massey Ferguson Model 12 baler. Any of you guys got any tips for this novice that will help me out when I start using it? Any knowledge and expertise will be appreciated.

One of the first things you will learn is that you need to start the first bale going up the chute while traviling straight on the windrow, once you have done that then you can bale while turning with no problem, otherwise they will get wedged in there crooked and be a real tough job to clean out.

you just need to start the first bale while traveling straight. I have a few more pictures I can dig up.

Post them if you want to. I'm sure there are some that would like to see a bale basket in operation.

I think there are several around here yet, if not they are of that style. The guy next door has several. They fill them in the evening and then unload them in the next morning.
