I want to know how large I can get with this rig. I would like to go at least 6'. Also, would a 7' box scraper be too large?

I have a very nice to drive and new paint super major deisel for sale with a 6' brush hog for $4650 which my son uses on a 10-acre 'estate' as a finish mower.
The blades are kept sharp, the mower set low (no rocks now), and keep the rpms up. He does in a couple of hours what his neighbor pays $200 to have done.
I also used that rig last summer to handle some 5 year or more growth of wild rose bushes, cedar trees, hedge, etc., and it handles it very competently.
I think it would handle up to 9' in ordinary circumstances. If you do not dig in the dirt or rocks, the blades will stay sharp. That Super Major is a super tractor.
I have bought one with a gear slow enough to handle a 3-pt tiller, but it is gas and the super major is much better on fuel and is easier to shift on the go.
I have not used a box blade, but as it is a dirt moving machine, you could probably get a big load easily.
