Hey guys, I'm looking at buying an International 5088, MFWD, Cab a/c heat, with a loader. It has a new engine, new hydraulic pump and the a/c is being fixed now. I don't know how many hours are on the tractor. The tires are in good shape with new tubes. The dealer told me it would be around $17,500. This sounds like a good deal but what are the good's and bad's about this tractor? Anyone's opinion would be great, Thanks.

I owned one for a short time. Got along okay with it but finally sold it cause it was the rough riding unit I ever had. Otherwise it was okay. Since went to gren units way happier with the hyd and riding.

it's really the same as a caseih magnum just uses ih 466 engine instead of case/cummins engine, without a full powershift trans. good tractor

they are a very good tractor, the transmission is alot heavier than the '86' series.
