I have an old Cole Planter. It is a 3pt hitch Duplex planter. I was able to get an owners manual from Implement Sales and order Sunflower Plates from them. I am going to plant 15 acres of Sunflowers. My manual states that I need a sunflower Partition to reduce the opening at the bottom of the hopper. Implement Sale does not have this part and do not know anything about it. Can any one help? I would like to buy the right part however if that is not possible I can make it if someone knows how much it reduces the opening. Thanks for any information.
Scott

Lincoln Ag Products made plates for Cole if 1968 and later. Give them a call at 402-464-6367. By "partition" you might be meaning what Lincoln Ag calls a "Filler Ring". They have them listed also.

Thanks. They sent me to Implement Sales in Stone MNT. GA. I am in SC not far from where Cole was manufactured so I thought one of the local older farm dealers could help but no luck.
