Hey, was my 605A the 1st of its kind round baler? I'm gonna sell it and I don't know if it's a classic, or just old. Still works though.

The first was a 605 there was also a 706. Then came the 605A and the 706A. I don"t remember which series the 706 was discontinaled.

There's someone who lives close to me that owns a plain 605 - no suffix, I've seen the serial number plate - that is older that yours. According to the book made in 1972. It still works, and is in pretty good shape.

no the origional was bigger and is in Vermeer's museum at the factory in Iowa, I was there and the baler is as big as a house.welding quality isn't much to speak of tho.
