Diameter of plate first then some one can tell if they are the same diameter as a John Deere or McCormic plate. If not I think you might be out of luck getting any. I suppose you know Black Hawk became part of Cockshutt and later Agco so there is a slim possibility of you getting some from them but expect them if you can get them to be gold plated.

Do you have any plates now? Do they have a part number on them? Let me guess you want to plant sweet corn and you need a different plate than what you have.

Yes sir it has plates in it now, and they are corn plates, the fact is that I am organic and I am wanting to get the Son in law in to truck farming. As soon as that foot of ice and snow melts I will bring that planter to the shop for a look see.

HOW OLD IS YOUR BLACK HAWK PLANTER? I HAVE THE ONE THAT MY DAD AND GRANDFATER USE, IT WAS A TEAM DRAWN PLANTER THEY CONVERTED TO THREE POINT HITCH TO USE ON A FARMALL H. THEY PLANTED CORN, SOYBEANS, MILO, AND COTTON WITH IT. I USE TO PLANT CORN FOR DEER PLOTS AND PURPLE HULL PEAS WITH IT. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE PLATES HAVE NUMBERS ON THEM. WIIL TRY TO LOCATE.
