ID of JD 800 series plow

Hi Folks: I have a mounted 3 bt JD plow which I believe is a 800 series plow. When I went to order owners manual they have one for each 8l0 ect. Are there any part numbers that will positively ID the model number for me. Thanks for your time and efforts Drew s/w

The 812 and 813 plow will most likly have a pnematic tail wheel. The mast for the for the top link is two straight irons on a 812,813 or a straight 810. The top link mast on a 810A is A shaped. Also on a 812 or 813 plow the frame where the colter for the front bottom mounts is a few inches longer than on 810 or 810A frames. This was diffrent to provide clearance for the remote cylinder valve box on 20 and 30 sieres tractors. The early high speed bottoms only had 3 bolts holding the shear on so you might find them on the 812,813 or early 810 plow. The bolt pattern of the plow beam is the same on all john deere plows until they went metric so all bottoms will interchange, so its tough to date a plow entirly by the bottoms.

The 810 has 3 bolt points and the 812 has 4 bolt points. At least that's what I have always been told.
